About the PruittCares Foundation

Founded in 1998 by the generosity of corporate donors and grateful patients of PruittHealth Hospice, the Foundation was first established as a scholarship organization to benefit those studying nursing, pharmacy, and therapy.

Over the years, the Foundation has grown to include a bereavement camp for kids, Camp Cocoon, held in three locations across Georgia and growing as well as a crisis grant program for PruittHealth employees or family-member caregivers of our patients.

Born from a commitment by PruittHealth to live out its Christian core values, the Foundation supports hundreds of grieving children and caregivers a year in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Florida.

OUR VISION

Patients, families, and partners are supported by a loving, giving, Christian environment.
